Program Description
The Palliative Care Program in the Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences in divided into two areas: Disease-Specific Palliative Care and General Palliative Care.
These two areas are described below along with detailed information on their referral criteria.
Program Offering
Disease-Specific Palliative Care
Outpatient practice focusing on patients with the following chronic neurological
illnesses:
- Dementia
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
- Stroke
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinsonian Disorders
- Huntington's Disease
- Cerebral Neoplasms
- Pediatric Neurological Disorders
General
Palliative Care
Outpatient practice for patients not considered with an above chronic neurological illness.
