Professor of Neurology at Western University
Originally from Germany, Dr. Hahn received her MD from Munich University in Berlin. She completed a neurology residency at the University of Klinikum Steglitz in Berlin and neuropathology residency from the University of Western Ontario. After her resident training, Dr. Hahn completed a three-year Medical Research Council Research Fellowship at Western University and received a Detweiler Traveling Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
In addition to funding by the NIH, Dr. Hahn has received several grants and awards including the U.S. Government Visiting Scientist Award and Annual Housestaff Teaching Award in Neurology. She is on the Editorial Board of Revue Neurologique, Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry and Journal of Peripheral Nervous Disease. She serves as ad hoc reviewer for Annals of Neurology, Brain, Neurology, Lancet, Journal of Neurosurgery, Journal of Neurology, Journal of Canadian Neurological Sciences, and others.
Dr. Hahn is currently Director of the Neuromuscular Clinic at London Health Sciences Centre.
Dr. Hahn is currently undergoing clinical research trials and experimental laboratories on the immune mediated peripheral neuropathy.
